We had a good start, but about 2 hours into our caravan (Tony, I and 2 little ones in our truck, Elvia, Grandma, Sarah and baby in Elvia's car and Jonny, Lili and Mikey in Jonny's truck) we had a problem. Jonny had a blow out going approximately 80mph and went off the road and hit the only tree between Gila Bend and Yuma. Needless to say the truck was totalled. But Thanks be to God, all are safe and unharmed. Just shaken up. So we redistributed everything and everyone into 2 vehicles and off we went (after waiting several hours for the tow truck, of course). Then as we reached the Mexico boarder crossings we realized the boarders were closed. We found out later that was because of the earthquakes that had happened that morning. This caused a lot of trafffic. Which caused us a very long trip home. But we are all back home safe. Jonny and family made it to Washington safely as of today (04-08-10) and they have until he goes back to work next Monday to get all settled in. So life is back to normal. As normal as it gets for us anyway :)
